"Do you seriously think Santana would do that?" asked Kurt. He looked worried.
Rachel nodded.
"She is quite ruthless."
Kurt considered this.
"I doubt she'd try to take out my kneecaps just so Brittany would win the class president elections."
"I'm sure Nancy Kerrigan thought the same thing."
"Okay, you are over thinking things," said Kurt, getting up out of his chair in the library. "Santana is our friend. And I'm going to go find Blaine and get away from your crazy."
"Fine," said Rachel in a huff. "But if Santana finds you in a dark alleyway, don't call me for help."
"If I need help for busted knees, then I'll call a hospital," said Kurt, raising an eyebrow. "Goodbye Rachel."
When Kurt found his boyfriend in the hallway, he tackled him and held him close.
"Am I ever glad to see you. Take me away from McKinley before I kill Rachel Berry."
"Lima Bean then?" smirked Blaine. "And hi to you too."
Kurt took Blaine's hand and smiled. "Rachel's being all weird. She thinks Santana will try to take me out so Brittany can win the election."
"Paranoid much?"
"Bad experiences with the Cheerios," muttered Kurt.
"Well, things got better right?" said Blaine. "Santana is... nice."
"Yes, she is when she wants to be," agreed Kurt. They opened the front door to the school and walked out to the student parking lot to leave for the day.
Blaine turned around to get his phone out of his bag before getting into the Escalade when he heard Kurt screech. He looked up to see Santana in her Cheerios uniform swinging a pipe wrench and Kurt ducking. Blaine ran over to Kurt's side of the SUV and found him on the ground, crouched down.
"Watch where you're swinging that thing Santana!"
"Oh sorry," said the Latina. "Have you two seen Brittany? Coach Sylvester wanted us to uh, work on the school's pipes before the game Friday, but she disappeared when I went to get some glue. I hope she didn't get lost in the sewers again."
"No, we haven't seen Brittany," said Kurt from now his sitting position on the ground. He glared at Santana.
"What? Did you think I'd really hit you?" she smirked. Blaine rolled his eyes and gave her a look.
"Alright alright, I'll go look for Brittany. You two gays have fun."
Blaine sat down beside the love of his life. "Kurt, honey…"
"Rachel's crazy is infecting me Blaaaaaaine."
Blaine took Kurt's car keys and kissed him softly. A light "hmmph" came from Kurt's lips as Blaine deepened the kiss.
"Better?"
"Much."
"Let's go," said Blaine. "I'll drive."
Kurt raised an eyebrow. "Taking control I see."
Blaine grinned. "Only because I don't trust that Rachel's paranoia doesn't run us off the road. You two have a hive like mind. If one of you is thinking something, the other knows it too."
"Oh god," said Kurt, turning and looking at Blaine with wide eyes. "Rachel and I are Borg."
Blaine sighed and started the SUV after they got in. "I knew Artie lending us his Star Trek box sets was a bad thing."
