On the Run
What happenends when Iggy sets off a bad boomb and the reality finally catches up w/ him. Will he never make another bomb ever again? Read and Review.
"You got fined 400 dollars, for doing what?" Max asked, looking up from the ticket in her hands. Iggy looked at her w/ the look he always got when he had made or was planning to make a bomb. "Well you see those cops just don't understand, us teenager. Sometimes we just have to have some fun, we can't just go play on the slide at the park and 'play safe' like good little children. We need to be able to try new things and be able to entertain ourselves in new ways," Iggy said. "Come on Max it was only a small bomb," Gazzy piped up. "A small bomb, that cop said it was a mile big in every direction. Lucky you didn't seriously hurt anyone or this could've been much worse for you 2," Max said. "I'll pay for this ticket but you 2 have to swear to never set 1 off that big again. Am I clear?" Gazzy and Iggy nodded and then Gazzy grabbed Iggy's arm and they rushed off to their room to plan yet another 1.
They had gotten up really early and were going to set it off in a field however Iggy had believed he knew how to finish it and instead of waiting for Gazzy to come back from the bathroom he finished the very small bomb by himself. They had set it in a abandoned burrow and Iggy set the timer for a minute but something went wrong and after several weird screeches and groans the bomb went off in 7 seconds. Iggy had sprinted away when he heard the strange sounds coming from the bomb and thought Gazzy was right behind him but when the smoke had cleared and he looked back Gazzy was rolling around on the dirt, ablaze. He knew it because he could hear his screaming now and smell the burning flesh and feathers."GAZZY!" he yelled and rushed towards him. However by the time he had got to Gazzy he had stopped screaming and thrashing, he had burned to death and it was all his fault. Iggy kneeled at Gazzy's burned body and wept into his hands. How could he have been so stupid? Why hadn't he waited for Gazzy to come back? Now he was gone and Iggy was to blame. He wanted to die, for Gazzzy to not have been the 1 who had died. Right then he heard sirens behind him, usually when they heard sirens they'd take flight and get away from the cops but this time Iggy could care less. He didn't even care when they had put him in the back seat of their cruiser and drove him off to jail. He was guilty and he wouldn't deny it.
