Carnival Love
Harry smiled as he walked through the carnival. He'd never been to one so he intended to stay as long as he could and make the most of this once in a lifetime opportunity. The Dursleys were somewhere around but they had made it clear that they didn't want Harry anywhere near them for as long as could be managed. Uncle Vernon had said he'd come and find Harry when it was time to leave but Harry wouldn't be surprised if they just left him here for the night.
Just as Harry pasted a tent that had a fortune teller in it he saw a flash of what almost looked like silver go behind it. He walked over to investigate. Behind the tent was a stack of crate that when higher than his head. Seeing nothing unusual he turned only to walk right into something hard and warm.
"Just my luck to run into you Potter." Said a very familiar voice. Harry looked up to see a pair of piercing silver-blue eyes, pale blond hair and equally pale skin. "D-Draco." He said stammered. "What are you doing here?"
The blond slightly smirked down at the dark haired boy before pushing him up against the crates. "My father doing something near by and I thought I'd come and enjoy the carnival." He replied. "And what are you doing here? I thought your relatives never took you anywhere." Harry swallowed before answering, "They didn't want to leave me in the house by myself. They think I might blow it up." Draco's smirk grew, his eyes sparkled with mischief. "Well then they're as stupid as you say they are." He said as he pressed his lips to Harry's.
Harry responded immediately to the kiss. It wasn't often Draco kissed him; he usually waited for Harry to do it. The blond pulled away, his smirk now a wicked grin. Harry's heart started to do back flips now that the shock of seeing Draco Malfoy at a muggle carnival wore off. He hadn't told Draco how he truly felt just yet and for some reason tonight seemed like the perfect night to do so.
"Draco," He said, the words coming out barely auditable. He tried again. " Draco, I... I love you." He finally blurted out. The blonde's gaze turned questioning for a moment before it turned to what looked to be some kind of cruel amusement. Harry frowned. This wasn't quite the reaction he'd been expecting. "You!" Draco said. " You, the Great Harry Potter, are in love with me?" Harry nodded, slightly dazed by the blonde's reaction. "Well isn't this rich." Draco said. "And I suppose you expect me to say that I love you too don't you?" Harry nodded again, his face now bright red. The smile on Draco's face grew impossibly wider. "Well I've got news for you Potter." He said leaning in closer. Harry braced himself for rejection, wishing he hadn't said anything. Now Draco would leave him and even the meaningless relationship he had with the blond would be gone forever. Draco's lips were scant centimeters from Harry's. "You were right." He murmured and kissed the dark haired boy again only this time gently, letting his feeling for the other boy flow into the kiss.
Harry was to stunned to do anything for a moment before the information reached his brain. /Draco is kissing me. Draco LOVES me. / He responded, smiling into the kiss. /This is it./ He thought./ I can finally be happy./
"Just what in the hell is going on here?!"
The two boys turned to see the Dursley's standing there looking at them. /Oh shit./ Harry thought. After all, his relatives had no clue he was gay.
End So what do you think? Not bad for my first fanfic. Please review, I need all the encouragement I can get.
