Eyes so blue, hair so golden,
Eyes so green, hair so red.
They loved each other through and true.
Nobody could tear them apart.

They would meet after school
To kiss, touch, hug, and love.
Never knew what was to come
When teal eyes saw blue.

Eyes so blue, hair so golden,
Eyes so green, hair so red.
They loved each other through and true.
Nobody could tear them apart.

Teal eyes would touch and kiss, hurt and burn blue,
Blue would hide the pain and suffering from green.
Green would always see right through,
But never did anything to help or stop.

Eyes so blue, hair so golden,
Eyes so green, hair so red.
They loved each other through and true.
Nobody could tear them apart.

Green watched as blue eyes got duller,
Blond hair got dimmer.
Blue would fight teal,
Teal would never lose against blue.

Eyes so blue, hair so golden,
Eyes so green, hair so red.
They loved each other through and true.
Nobody could tear them apart.

Green went to look for blue,
Not seeing blue in school.
Green ran into teal.
Teal shrugged at green's questions.

Eyes so blue, hair so golden,
Eyes so green, hair so red.
They loved each other through and true.
Nobody could tear them apart.

Green got madder and madder,
And put teal in the ground.
Green looked all around for blue,
And Found blue at their meeting place.

Eyes so blue, hair so golden,
Eyes so green, hair so red.
They loved each other through and true.
Nobody could tear them apart.

Eyes no longer blue, hair no longer blond.
Green eyes so scared and horror struck.
Blue eyes were closed in an ever lasting sleep.
Blond hair covered in dirt and blood.

Eyes so blue, hair so golden,
Eyes so green, hair so red.
They loved each other through and true.
Nobody could tear them apart.

Okay. So, this is my ballad that I had to do for my Senior English class. I would have posted it here sooner, but I couldn't get to for a long time for some reason. lol Anyways, the directions for the ballads:

1. Must tell a story. (Characters, plot, etc.)
2. Must have a refrain repeated at east twice.
3. Must be at least 24 lines.
4. Must have at least 4 verses.
5. Must have the 4 elements of a ballad.
6. Doesn't have to rhyme, but can.
7. Can be based on real events or made up.

I didn't want to go into my personal life at school, even though I could easily do that. Anyways, if you can guess the characters, then you can get a cookie. Oh. I already owe my hunny-bunny a cookie. XD She guess the characters. =3

Each of the three people mentioned here belongs with their respected owners. I own nothing.
