Blood Runs Anger
"Hey Hermione, could help me answer this question for the charms worksheet?" Ron asked his closest friend. After a few moments of silence he finally looked up. The first thing he saw was that Harry had gone pale and Hermione had gotten very red.
If looks could kill Ron would surely be nailed into a coffin, set on fire, and then buried as deep as they could put him.
"You mean the worksheet due tomorrow that you had the past week to work on?" she asked through clenched teeth. Ron, recognizing his faux pas, quickly backtracked.
"Just kidding, I finished that days ago! I'm just gonna... go... right now. Bye!" He grabbed all his things and bolted for the boy's dormitory.
"Wow, Hermione, what did you say to him?" Seamus asked, oblivious as usual.
"What's it to you Seamus?" She glared at him and his eyes widened as he saw the chocolate bar sitting innocently by her side. Hermione only ever ate chocolate at a certain time of the month, he knew. He ran as fast as possible from the common room all the while yelling a warning to everyone.
"The lioness has been released and she's out for blood!" He yelped a moment later when a well aimed stinging hex hit its mark. The common room suddenly burst into activity and people began to run for their lives. Soon enough the only people left in the large room were Harry and Hermione.
"Told you I could get us some privacy." She told him innocently as she turned to him, replacing the left over chocolate form last week into her bag.
"If hadn't known that you were on your period last week I would've joined them. No offense Hermione, but you are terrifying when it's your time of month." He said with a wince and a blush staining his face. Hermione looked at her best friend and rolled her eyes.
"Boys. You wanted to talk in private. We're in private, let's talk. Oh, and for the record, I'm a fucking ray of sunshine." Harry shook his head in disbelief before he started telling his closest friend about the riddle the egg had spilled.
