SUMMARY: Finn, Kurt and only one television = heated 'discussion'

DISCLAIMER: I don't own Glee or any of the TV shows mentioned, but I can claim the opinions on some of them. This was based on a real conversation!

"No, no, no, no, no. Not happening." Kurt "Not while my body is still warm."

Finn pouted, "But Kurt, I…"

"Finn, it's absolutely ridiculous. Has no plot, the outfits they wear are absolutely ridiculous as though the people who dressed them were colour-blind. Not to mention it's meant to be a comedy, but I don't find it at all amusing, merely boring. It's even worse than the Simpsons." Kurt ranted at Finn, "It is not going on the TV when I could be watching something fantastic and educational."

"But Kurt, Futurama has a plot, and the outfits aren't terrible. You're just being picky. Simpsons is awesome too. You'd just want to watch something stupid like Project Runaway or Jeremy Kyle USA. They're not educational either."

"Yeah, but they make me feel better about my life. Futurama makes me feel worse about it, 'cos only bad things could make me watch it!"

Finn grunted in exasperation and threw his hands into the air as though giving up. Yet he quickly took back the gesture when Burt sauntered into the room.

"Burt, please help me. Kurt stopped me watching Futurama. He called it trash TV, help me overturn him. He wants to watch reality TV like Supernanny. He also dissed the Simpsons!"

Burt chuckled, "Where did I go wrong? My kid would rather watch Supernanny than the Simpsons?"

"It's so I know how to deal with the two unruly children I have in the house." As he made this remark, he glared pointedly at the two others in the room, "So far, so good. Simpsons and Futurama are terrible, this TV is not being turned on in the next 5 minutes unless it's Supernanny and not Futurama. Were Carole here, she would back me up, but you ridiculous blokes have some sort of hive mind."

As he was speaking, Kurt had walked over to the television set and retrieved the remote. He then turned to wave it at Finn triumphantly. In a terrible move, Kurt turned his back to turn on the TV to the channel he wanted and Finn jumped on him from behind. This, of course, lead to a wrestling match/tickle fight which went on for quite some time. Burt had decided to ignore them and simply sit down and read his paper.
