When they weren't alone they would make snide comments and act like they hated each other. But that was just for show.
When they were alone they laughed and ran through the woods without a care in the world and frankly they would just enjoyed each others company.
And with everything going on they just tried to make the best of it. One day they escape. They escape everything and anything.
They leave Mystic Falls.
But only for a day.

They laugh and swim in a lake and run past everything.
But that was only for a day.

And it was their one day that made them realize how much they truly cared about each other.
