My first "Legend of the Seeker," story. I've been watching it a lot lately it's my favorite show and Cara is just a bad-ass.
Most of the lines are from Season Two the "Perdition" episode.
It's just my point of view of Cara and Leo.
"Wizard we've been traveling for weeks wouldn't it be faster if you turned us into birds?" Cara asked.
"How would Leo carry the Sword of Truth in his beak?" Zedd responded. Leo gave a small laugh and smiled towards Cara who gave him a glare.
"So why kind of bird would you want to be?" Leo asked the blond Mord'Sith.
"What difference does it make?" Cara said rather annoyed.
"I'm curious." Leo stated.
"A blue-tailed Sea Hawk." Cara answered.
"That's a noble animal."
"One that attacks without warning. Nothing escapes its claws."
"Do you know what kind of bird I'd be?"
"Parrot that doesn't know when to stop talking?" They exchanged looks.
"A falcon." (I don't know the exact words Leo used in that line. Sorry.) "They're the only birds a blue-tailed Sea Hawk would follow."
That night Cara decided to tell Leo about her feelings about him.
"Cara, Zedd and I are going to go get more fire wood and see if we find dinner we'll be back later." The Mother Confessor Kahlan told Cara.
"So it's just us two." Leo said as he came from behind Cara and put his arm around her. She wanted to move but she kind of liked it.
"You need some rest I'll keep first watch." She said as looked into his memorizing eyes.
Leo traced Cara's bottom lip with his index finger. "You know you have lovely lips." Cara smiled she could almost feel herself blush.
"I could put them to good use." She thought. "I've never met a man who's gotten on my every last nerve like you Leo.. but I'm glad I did." They both smiled. "Leo I." She stopped herself.
"Yes Cara? You what?" He asked.
"Leo I think I'm in love with you."
