Death to the So-Called Traitor –
"Don Tattaglia," came the voice of Freddie Nobile.
"Freddie, what is it?" replied Philip Tattaglia.
"Luca Brasi has been in contact again. It seems he's not too happy with the Corleone family. He wants to join with us…" explained Freddie, as he sat down in front of the Don.
"But…?" began Don Tattaglia.
"But I don't trust him. Everyone knows Luca would never betray Don Corleone; this is obviously just some cheap trick by Vito. He seemed suspicious of Sollozzo, he's just trying to get on the inside," answered Freddie, leaning over the desk towards Philip.
"We mustn't turn him down," said Don Tattaglia, "we will agree to a meeting. Tell him that Bruno and Sollozzo will meet him tomorrow at The Luna Bar in Midtown. We'll make him an offer, a good offer and negotiate. Relax him. Then we'll take him out."
The door opens and Bruno Tattaglia enters.
"Freddie, how are you? I hear-"
"Bruno, sit. Freddie, find Tony and tell him to get his best man and send him in." ordered Philip Tattaglia.
"Yes, Don Tattaglia," said Freddie, before leaving the room. As he leaves, he runs into Tony Bianchi, who is about to enter.
"Freddie, I'm kinda busy, but-" began Tony.
"This is important. Find Santino and tell him to come here now. The Don wants to talk to him..." interrupted Freddie
"OK, Freddie. I'll get onto it. But you have to tell the Don – Mikey Saleri is dead…."
