Greetings to all you fan-fictionites. I was in the mood to write some Lingfan, so I hope you're in the mood to read it. These two are my favorite pairing ever, so expect more in the future. I hope you enjoy.
If I owned Fullmetal Alchemist, do you really think I'd be sitting in my bedroom writing fanfictions on my laptop?
One More Week
"Hey, Lanfan, are you awake?"
Lanfan didn't move but mumbled, "I am now, Young Lord."
She heard a faint chuckle as the body behind her shifted a little bit, moving closer to her, draping an arm over her stomach. "You don't have to keep calling me that when we're alone; I have a name you know."
"Force of habit, I guess."
"Well, you won't be forced to keep that habit for much longer." His breath tickled her ear a little bit.
"How much longer?"
"Seven more days. I've already discussed my plans with the council of elders. They said that once I am crowned, I can marry whoever I want. When it comes down to it, as long as it's someone who can bear my children, they don't mind too much."
For a while, they just lay there in silence, as the sun's rays started to peek through the cracks between the heavy curtains, giving the room a soft glow.
"Ling, why did you wake me up in the first place?"
It took a moment for the crown prince of Xing to remember, as he got so caught up in the moment. His stomach growled.
"Oh yeah, I wanted to see if you wanted to get some breakfast with me."
"Sure, Ling."
The two lovers sat up, stretched, and got dressed, because the sooner they got through this day, the sooner it would be only six more days. Of course, Lanfan thought to herself, no matter how much power he gained, he would still be Ling Yao.
AN: That was much shorter than I intended it to be, but I'm still happy with how it turned out. I hope you enjoyed, and please review if you did. Or if you didn't, whatever works. ~EndlesslyWandering
