Loki sat around the fire with tears streaming down his face. Odin has broken his heart into pieces again without even knowing it. And Thor just STOOD there obediently. "Insufferable oaf! How dare he!" This went on for quite some time. Loki spewing obscenities to the skies. After some time Thor came to see how his baby brother was doing. Not sensing his hostility, he reached out his hand to him. "Brother?" he uttered softly. "When Loki heard his voice, he scooted away from him. "g-go away!" he screamed, trying to hide his tears to no avail. Thor saw this action and tried to get close to him, but when he did Loki scooted away again.
After a while Thor huffed and captured Loki in his muscular arms. "Let go of me you OAF!" Thor did not. "LET GO!" Again he did not. "l-let…" he did not get to finish his sentence as he broke down in tears. Thor held him with hesitantly. He wasn't all so good at calming people. So he decided to rub his back soothingly. 'If only mother was here...' She and Loki had a special connection. As Loki calmed down, Thor started talking. "Loki I know you're upset, but I wanted you to know that I will always love you, brother." Loki sniffled. "I know you may feel…unloved sometimes, but never forget that you are my brother. EVER.", Thor said seriously. Loki was silent for a minute and then he uttered softly, but loud enough for Thor to hear "That is good to know brother. I thank you for your time..." Thor smiled. He's finally opening up! "why don't we go play a prank on AllFather?" Loki looked up at him confused. "But what if you get in trouble?. And I get all the blame." He added after a second thought coldly under his breath. "Then I'm going to take all the blame, I swear!" he said after a not so reassuring look from Loki. "…" "…" after silence on both ends Loki laughed and smiled. "let's go brother" Thor smiled as well, for he had gotten his baby brother to smile. Not many could admit to that.
