Mkay, here's a MangaQuest drabble... I like this one a lot, actually. Contains... MangaQuest (duh), HeartSoul (GoldxLyra), and SoulSilver (SilverxLyra)
Disclaimer: I don't own Pokemon Special.
not a bad deal
She contemplated it a bit; it wasn't a bad deal. She goes out with him, he gets her jealous, he hooks up with her; she gets to pretend to be his girlfriend.
There was, however, a problem.
Crystal liked Gold, and personally she didn't want to help him get Lyra.
But she'd do anything for him, whether he'd realized it or not.
"So..." she said, unsure of what to due because this was the first time she'd ever done something so stupid. She liked Gold, she didn't want to help, but she did, out of love, and he'd only realize when Lyra left him and she was gone.
"All you need to do is make Lyra jealous," Gold stated.
"Right," she murmured, a tad upset, but this was not caught by Gold.
She hugged him, pecked his cheek, his lips, his forehead. The target, Lyra was getting to the broiling point, until she snapped and dragged Gold away with her.
Within minutes, Gold came out, and embraced Crystal in a hug.
"Thanks, Crys!" He smiled.
So. The plan had worked.
"I owe you one."
He let go and ran off to meet his newly acquired girlfriend, Lyra.
She let the blush spread across her face, and watched sadly in the distance as she watched her love and his girlfriend walk away in the distance.
five years later
It had been five years, and Gold and Lyra had it all.
That was, until, Gold came home and found Lyra in bed with his best friend, Silver. Not only was it awkward and heartbreaking, this also meant someone owed a call out to Blue, and considering the situation, it wouldn't turn out pretty.
Gold promptly told his now ex-girlfriend to get out of his house, he yelled at Silver, and called up Crystal, the only one that would probably care anymore.
But he didn't expect her to. Not after the torture he put her through. He wasn't a total idiot; he knew she liked him a lot. But he didn't want to be his normal perverted self and force her into something she didn't want to do.
But he called anyways.
"Crys," he said softly into the phone.
"Hey Gold." She seemed frazzled that he would call her.
"I... I..." he sounded like he wanted to cry.
"What is it? Gold? Gold!" She called into the piece of plastic, "Gold, what's the matter?"
She was sincerely worried.
"I... found Lyra in bed with Silver."
He awaited her reply, but she'd hung up. He hung his head in shame, not even Crystal would talk to him.
However, in fifteen minutes time, a knock on the door was heard.
"Gold, it's okay," Crystal said, embracing her friend, her crush.
"You know... I always knew," he muttered hopelessly into her shoulder.
He felt her grow tense.
"Wha-what?"
"I always knew you had a crush on me," he laughed.
She pulled away, shock on her face.
"And I kinda... always liked you back," he said sheepishly, "I just didn't want to force you into anything, Super-Serious Gal."
Crystal laughed at her nickname, and said, "Well, that's nice to know Gold, but you're wrong... I kinda always loved you."
He smiled and she smiled.
They hugged, and Lyra stared into the window at what she had lost.
Maybe it was for the best.
Yep. I really like this one! So... How'd you like it?
Review, please!
