Hey Jack I'm Your Dad!

Disclaimer: I do not own either of the characters Mia or Brian from the fast and furious universe they are the sole property of their creator and as such I do not make any money from this or any other story that I write for this site.

Summary: The first few moments of Jack O'Connor's life and all his father can do for a moment or two is gaze in wonder.

A/N: Just a small chapter in the life of the O'Connor family, I am not sure if Mia and Brian are married in the films but in this story they are.

Brian breathed in deeply as the precious bundle of new life was placed in his arms for the first time, for a moment or two all he could do was gaze in awe and wonder at this small being he held in his arms, his son. He still could not believe that his and Mia's son was here at last, Mia exhausted but happy following her six hour labour watched from the bed as she watched her husband and son gaze at each other for the first time.

She smiled at the look of almost childlike wonder on Brian's face as he gazed down tenderly at the life that the two of them had created and smiled at his apparent nervousness at being handed something so precious. She knew he would make a good father and would always be there for her and the bundle of joy that he presently held and had always known since the moment that she gained the courage and told him that she was expecting.

When Jack had opened his eyes for the first time after being placed in her arms following his birth and she had seen the same startling blue eyes that his father had she had smiled, her smile growing wider as Brian continued to gaze in wonder at their son.

In his hand he held one of Jack's tiny hands and she covered her mouth with her own hand to stifle a giggle as she heard her husband whispering.

"One…two…three…four….five."

Making sure that all of Jack's fingers were present and correct.

She saw another look of wonderment cross Brian's face as he looked into his son's eyes and for the first time muttered the immortal words.

"Hey Jack, I'm your Dad."

A/N: A bit short but sometimes short is best. As always reviews are appreciated!
