What We Are
You started out as the man I looked up to;
You where the person I wanted to be;
I was your admirer.
You taught me my manners;
You guided me down the right paths;
I was your student.
You loved me in every possible way;
You would never let anything happen to me;
I was your daughter.
I was the person that kept you together;
I was the person who did everything to make you proud;
You are my dad
