A young Naruto sat on the swings, sniffling as he wiped away the tears in his eyes. The light rain began to fall down harder but the little kyuubi boy stayed on the swings, quietly crying to himself.
"Why are you crying?" A voice asked. Naruto looked up to see a raven haired boy. Naruto wiped away a stray tear, inorging the boy's question. The raven haired boy twitched impatiently. "Why are you crying?" He repeated. Naruto stayed silent. The raven haired boy sighed heavily before taking the swing beside Naruto. The little blonde bit his lip, trying to hold back his tears, but failed. "You're Uzumaki, right?" Naruto looked over at the boy beside him, staring into his onyx eyes. Naruto nodded. "I'm Uchiha Sasuke." Naruto's eyes widened slightly. He heard about the Uchiha clan, all being murdered by Itachi. Sasuke... was just like him. All alone. Sasuke gave the blonde a little smile. "It sucks huh? Being alone..."
"Yeah." Naruto mummbled. Sasuke stopped swinging and looked over at the kyuubi boy. Naruto gazed back as blue met oynx. They stayed that way, for forever it seemed. Gazing into each others eyes, understanding each others pain. Then, the blonde broke eye contact and stared at the muddy ground, trying to calm down his racing heart. After a minute the kyuubi boy spoke. "Um, Uchiha?"
"Hm?" Sasuke hummed. Naruto bit his lip and watched as the rain droplets made ripples in the puddles.
"Why... Why are you... Why did you stop to check on me?" The blonde looked over at the raven. Sasuke frowned and looked at young fox demon. He heistated but spoke,
"No one should be alone... espically when they are crying. Even you apply to this Uzumaki." Sasuke quickly looked away, hiding his embrassed blush with his bangs. Naruto's cheeks also flushed but instead of looking away, he smiled gratefully at the young Uchiha. Suddenly the rain came to a arupt stop. Both of the boys looked up at the sky. They watched as the clouds drifted apart to reveal the forever shining sun. The sunlight lit up the two boy's faces, making them both smile. Sasuke stood up and turned to Naruto. He held out his hand. "Let's go." The blonde boy grinned wide and took the raven's hand. The two boys left the park, hand in hand.
