Disclaimer: Stephanie Plum and all the characters in the Stephanie Plum series are the sole property of Janet Evanovich. Normally, I don't stick my nose into genres where I'm very happy with the author and with what the author writes. But I've heard one too many complaints that "Ten Big Ones" ended way, way too abruptly - so in my own small way, I've tried to help the author out by doing my own fix on it.

A/N: I've reposted this to fix the format – I originally wrote this in Wordpad because my hard drive suffered terminal brain failure and I lost most of my programs. Now that I finally have Microsoft Word back, I'm trying to fix all the things that went wonky.

"Ten Big Ones: The Missing Epilogue"

I'm still not sure where Morelli and I stand, or where I stand with Ranger. I love them both, in my own way, and I know they both love me. I guess you could say that I've got my GPS set on both of them, and that's fine for now.

And I didn't rush out and buy a big bottle of Ranger's shower gel.

I waited two hours.

And bought a little bottle.

I know, I know - you're astounded by my tremendous willpower.

Sally's really enjoying his reward, but I have a feeling he's going to have to use it for medical expenses - his skin finally went from "welt" to "open sore". He still refuses to stop snapping himself - he just switched the rubber band to his other wrist. I guess he's really attached to his 'little dudes'. Huh.

Valerie's still really freaked about the whole wedding thing. I'm still trying to talk her into eloping, but I have a feeling that if she does Albert will end up marrying her dust. Either way, I won't end up looking like a vegetable.

Work's been nice and quiet, too. No gangs following me, and no dogs trying to knock me over.

Except for Bob. I can definitely deal with Bob.

To my reviewers: Thank you for your input and insight, I really appreciate it.

Lady Draconis – hmm, I do wonder what will happen in the next book. Val's wedding, for one thing, will probably happen even if it is just so Steph can get her personal space back. Other than that, I have no guesses. 8o)

Jillybean – I'm glad that you liked my idea, but I'm sorry you felt that this epilogue didn't fulfill its potential, and that I didn't accomplish my own personal goal of achieving closure. 'Meyari shrugs' If you try and fail, all that is left for you to do is to keep trying.

Aikakone – Wow, that's a unique name. I'd love to hear how you came up with it! Thank you for your compliment on Steph's voice, and I hope that this repost has fixed the format. It was annoying me, too!
