Hey all! Yeah, another drabble-ish story type thing (not quite sure what to call it...)... Anyways, this was meant to be about Lyra liking Gold but he likes Crystal... Anyways, I really like this one, so I hope you like it, too!

hopelessly in love
When she thinks of their relationship, she thinks of a corner in a circle. Of course, a corner in a circle was impossible, but she knew to have him love her was just like that- impossible. Even when he reassures her with "I love you"s, she knows that he is just faking it, saving them for someone else. She doesn't want to accept it, but she does, because for now, she has what she wants, even if what she wants wants something else. She knows that he is very popular and a player, but she can't help but to hope he'd be different with her. She is fragile, a delicate piece of human soul, and she knew loving him would mean that the delicate piece of human soul would break. Whether it is because she simply does not like losing, or because she wants to prove that she stands a chance, she's not sure. But for now, she is happy with him, even though unknown to her, he was already seeing someone else. Because what she thinks is hers was really someone else's from the start. He is sixteen and she is but eleven. She should have known. And now, she's left to crumble into pieces as she watches him be happy with someone else. She sighs sadly as her Chikorita nuzzles her ankle. Perhaps one day, she'll find someone worth the pain. Someone that wouldn't totally crush her. Someone that would stay with her.
Okays, that was cute, to me at least. Anyways, you could imagine it being Lyra and Gold more so than any other pairing, except for SoulSilverShipping. But it could be anything, so I won't tag characters in this...
