Carth gets a surprise.
Salem Onasi-Regindor is not your normal everyday Jedi/wife. No she is quite the opposite of that; she was once Darth Revan, then a simple Jedi padawan turned Jedi knight, and then republic hero. Carth Onasi knew that better than anyone and here he stood waiting for the Ebon Hawke to arrive. His friends stood beside him anxiously waiting for her. Jolee and the Cathar Jhuhani stood to his right. Jolee was rocking back and forth on the balls of his feet, while Jhuhani was busy fussing with her new Jedi Guardian robes. On Carth's left were the young Twi'lek Mission and her Wookie friend Zalbaar. Mission was lightly bouncing on her toes and Zalbaar was lightly brushing the fur on his arm. There were two robots behind him HK-47 and T7 both stood there starring at the landing pad. Only two other people were not present one was the young Jedi Bastila Shan who was busy training new padawans and the other was the self-healing mandalorian Canderous who returned to his home world. Why he returned no one knows he just left one day saying he had some stuff to do. And so here they stood short two friends waiting for Salem.
"It's been seven years since she left and now we are standing here waiting for her. This is such a big day I can't wait to see Salem."
Mission rambled on next to Carth. He smiled at what she was saying the young Twi'lek teen had always looked up to Salem as mother and role-model.
"I know how you feel Mission. Seven years ago I married her weeks before she left and now I'm waiting for her". Carth sighed in happiness and relief at the thought of her returning.
A ship appeared in the distance and began to close in. Seeing that it was the Ebon Hawke he straightened up and stood taller.
"This is it" Carth whispered to himself.
The ramp lowered to reveal the Exile Abigale Procter and Atton Rand holding hands. Carth walked towards them meeting them halfway. They both had a smile and a look of relief on their faces with a trace of weariness.
"Good to see you Admiral Onasi, Salem is right behind me. Oh and congratulations."
Abigale winked at him as she walked by. Carth, quite confused, looked to the darkened entrance and saw not one but two people. Salem walked down the ramp holding the hand of a young child. The child looked to be six years old with long dark hair and bright gold eyes. When they got closer he saw the resemblance the child had with Salem. This child was his.
"Carth I'd like you to meet your daughter Elizabeth Onasi."
