A/N Well this is a change from the usual fanficts that I do I started this chapter a while ago and just never published it on here but please read and review
It's 11pm and Shay is hover-boarding in the rusty ruins, the metal structures barely in tacked. She lowers her board towards the ground cars, she looks into the windows and sees the skeletons of the rusty people, they chose to try to escape the explosions by driving which is stupid as the whole reason the explosions were happening was because whenever oil contacted oxygen it would explode but the rusties where stupid.
"Shay?" A familiar voice called.
"Who's there?" Shay scans the area but couldn't see anyone.
"Come to the highest ruin." Shay zooms up and sees him in the corner.
"David?"
"Hello."
"Why are you here?"
"Well I was sad that you didn't arrive at the smoke with the others and I came here as soon as I could."
"Sad?"
"Yes I was very happy when you said you wanted to get away from here." Shay looks bashful and twists her fingers.
"Well, I sort of chickened out David."
"I gathered that much." David let out a small chuckle.
"Did the others get there okay?"
"Yes all in one piece, you weren't the only one who chickened out you know." Shay shoots a look to David.
"What?"
"Zane didn't come either."
"He was the most keen."
"I know, Shay I have to go, but don't be a stranger, it was nice seeing you again." David hoped on his hover board and zoomed into the distance leaving Shay alone in the eerie ruins.
