A normal day in the Naruto-verse.
In order to escape the insanity in the Akatsuki hideout, Nikki and Deidara went out for another walk. Unlike their last walk, this time it was nothing but undeterred sunshine.
As they walked down the path, they suddenly heard a 'squish' as Deidara stepped on something soft.
"Huh?" The blonde said, looking down.
There was a creature sitting in the road. It was small, mouse-like, and yellow with two brown stripes across its back, a splash of brown at the base of its lightning bolt-shaped tail, black on the ends of its pointed ears, and big red circles on his adorable cheeks.
"It's a... Pikachu.." Said Nikki. Then she took note of the dangerous aura swirling around the 'Pikachu' and muttered, "Uh oh..."
At first, the Pikachu said nothing, but then it turned around and gave Deidara the worst death glare he had ever seen as sparks flew from its red cheeks.
"Pikaaaa-" It said, preparing to attack.
"Shit!" Deidara cursed.
"-CHHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!"
A massive bolt of lightning struck the blonde, and Nikki had to cover her eyes because she would have been blinded if she didn't. In a flash, it was over. Deidara was black and reeked of burnt flesh. Nikki came out of the attack unscathed. As for the Pikachu, it was in a much better mood.
"Oh, you are so cuu~~ute~!" Nikki cooed as she picked up the Pikachu and cradled it in her arms. "Do you feel better now, cutie~?"
"Pika~!" Pikachu chirped.
"Don't worry about me, I'm fine, un.." Deidara muttered dejectedly.
"Of course you're fine. You've been through worse." Nikki deadpanned.
"There's something I don't get.." Said the blonde.
"What?" Nikki inquired.
"How did a Pikachu get here?" He asked.
Nikki thought about it, and shrugged. "Beats me."
Meanwhile, Tobi, who was watching the scene from a safe distance, turned towards the readers and struck a victory pose with a peace sign as an added touch.
"My new jutsu is a success! Tobi rules~!"
