Bastila's Surprise Party
Bastila Shan was having a busy day. She needed to do odd favors for her friends. The war with Malak was over. what a relief, Bastila thought. She was also wondering why her friends couldn't do the jobs themselves. Bastila had to give Jolee's pet a one hour walk. Mission Vao was goofing off in the Ebon Hawk and broke the hyperdrive, so she had to fix it. That took three hours. Not to mention Canderous lost his blaster, she spent a better part of the day looking for it.
Carth Onasi was trying to order a cake. The cake lady kept saying that they were
closed. Carth said desperately, "I need this cake it's Bastila's birthday. I'll even pay you extra!" The cake lady kept saying no until she finally gave in and sold the cake to Carth.
Jolee Bindo was in charge of getting the supplies. He went to many stores just to get the candles, Bastila liked a lot of colors. Jolee looked at his chrono and thought it was noon instead of 11:00, so he rushed to the stores and back, only to find out he was early.
"Wonder why the decoration is such a disaster?" Mission Vao muttered to her best friend, Zalbaar. the wookie growled questioningly. The two best friends along with two droids, T3-M4 and HK-47, were assigned to decorate Bastila's house. While T3-M4 was being very helpful, he put up a hologram of "happy birthday, Bastila!", HK-47 was being a burden. He kept making death threats to everybody and caused the banner to fall by acting out how he would kill Mission. Mission wasn't to willing to be friendly with HK-47 after that.
There was a bit of a fiasco at the mall. Canderous Ordo couldn't find Bastila's presents. He was paired with Juhani. Her shout came from two departments down, "Get over here, Ordo! You're in the pet department!" Canderous's only thought was, oh. He was thinking how much Bastila would enjoy dog biscuits. When he went to the women's department, he found Juhani admiring some jade earrings. "I wouldn't get her those", Canderous said. Juhani replied, "Why not?" Canderous thought the earring were poisonous. For a while he made these kind of remarks on everything Juhani suggested. "You're hopeless!" Juhani exclaimed, fed up with Canderous. Canderous tried to protest, but Juhani knocked him out. Eventually, the presents were delivered.
Revan was to make sure that Bastila didn't go home until the party was ready. He spotted Bastila heading home, some he asked her to help him find his lightsaber. He had misplaced somewhere aboard the ship. The search took them a while, so the party was ready when they were done. Revan took Bastila home to, "Surprise!"
