I sat reading a book by the hearth, sipping tea, when I thought of something. I look up from the adventures of Alice to look at the ex-pirate gentleman beside me, pondering. He was polite yet curt, very hot-tempered (though that must be the Irish…) believed in fictional characters, enjoyed tea… I tilt my head. Just what other stereotypes fit Arthur Kirkland? Sure he was "England" itself, but still… surely there were stereotypes that didn't fit? I thought. Well… some people seem to think all English people were strippers, which Arthur definitely wasn't. Others seem to think all English people are all like "pip pip tally ho~" Which Arthur definitely was NOT like… though he did have the stereotypical London accent… I narrow my eyes in thought as I continue to stare at Arthur who was now pointedly ignoring me…. How impolite. Though staring was impolite too so… I clear my throat.

"Hey Arthur?" He looks up, green eyes shining in annoyance. "Yes?" "What English stereotypes suit you, do you think?" His thick eyebrows shooting up into his hairline.

"All of them I suppose… I am England after all…" I nod in thought before grinning.

"So you're a stripper?" "I-WHAT!" He sputters even as I grin. "And you like to be dominated in bed, and you are very polite and inactive during sex-" "Oh I'll show YOU inactive, wench!" Arthur snarled even as he pounced me. Needless to say, all I have to say is… not all stereotypes are true when it comes to the English.
