AN: Wow, would you look at that. Another one-shot.

The fairytales lied to you.

When you were younger, you'd climb up onto you parents knees and hang on to every word that they spoke. They told you stories of princess' falling in love with prince charming. They told you of how the prince would ride up on his white horse to save her when she was ever in trouble.

And you learn to believe them.

Young minds, so naïve and trusting, fall for lies they are spoon-fed from day one.

They put age certificates on everything, except fairytales. What can they do right? They're happy, and innocent. Nothing bad about them.

That's where they're wrong.

They make you believe them. That when you grow up things are going to be perfect, and you'll fall in love with the perfect guy. Things will go perfect, and you'll get your happily ever after.

They set you up for heartbreak.

And one by one, generation after generation, the children that were lied to from birth fall. They are sent head first into the real world, where nothing is happy or innocent. A cold, harsh light is set over everything, leaving the demons no place to hide.

So they attack you, and eat you alive from the inside out. You scream and cry for help but no ones listening. No one cares. You prince doesn't come and save you.

So you die inside, a little more everyday.

And you drink, because it hurts too much not to, because when the chemicals wear off you are forced to see into reality. And you're too weak do that. So you drink again, hoping and praying that this one will make a difference. That this one will be the one to stop the pain.

But nothing ever does.

And all this because they poisoned your mind with false hopes and lies about magical lands where everything's perfect.

.oOo.

Their screams could be heard over half a mile away. Screams of almost pain, where rough hands pressed down hard onto smooth skin, and teeth tore ever so slightly at flesh.

But there are worse things to feel.

He was another form of drink to her. He made her forget the real world, and she made him forget his. And that's all the needed, they asked nothing more of each other. Just the promise of this, and that's all they wanted.

His breath collided with her neck and sent violent shivers down her spine. His tongue against her jaw increased them, as she pulled at his hair hard.

The rough cotton of the sheets clinging to their bodies as they moved in sync. The room choked in scent of sex and sweat. She reached for the bottle on the table next to her and took a deep gulp of the clear liquid before passing it to him.

"I love you."

She hardly heard him over the blood rushing round her head, sending her spiralling into her self-induced oblivion.

AN: I don't know why I wrote that, or what it's about really, so don't ask me. It just kind of came out. So, yeah reviews please. Thanks.
