Ctaie stared aimlessly at the words, "Jamie Romeo Watie" carved in the sliver stoned gravestone
Her tears hurt her eyes. She was scared and didn't know what she would do without him. Why did he have to leave her? If the car the killed him only have been there seconds before Jamie had, he will still be there.
If only he was wearing his seat belt, he would've been there right now comforting her. Holding her in his arms. She cried and cried. Picking up the flowers she bought to put here on his tombstone.
"Why did he go away?" She yelled crying aloud, "I hate him for this! Why?! God, tell me why!" She buried her head in her hands and sat on the dirty ground on her knees. "Please come back." She whispered slightly.
"He never left you." Val came up behind her.
"Yes, he did!" Catie cried more, "I try to forget, but only if that car wasn't so big, Jamie's car would've made it."
"Catie, he'll always be in your heart."
"Yes he will." Tyler came up behind them, "Jamie didn't want to leave you. He didn't want to leave any of us, Bad things happen. It's called life."
Catie cried more staring at his stone. She wanted to be alone. Alone without everybody telling her Jamie is still with her. Nobody understood he was gone, he wouldn't be with her anymore.
"I never leave you." She heard whisper.
Catie jumped. "Who's there?"
"I'll never leave you." The voice repeated again, "I love you, Catie."
She turned around fast and said, "Jamie, is that you?" She cried.
A tall glowing figure appeared at the entrance of the graveyard. Was it Jamie? Or was it something else, from her imagination?
Catie ran towards the approaching figure. Jame's body looked so different as a spirit then it did as a real person.
"I missed you. I have been watching you from up there." Jamie said smiling.
Catie was speechless, "Is that you?"
"It's me Catie. I love you."
She reached out to hug him, but her arms went through him, she stayed away from him and looked at him, "I missed you."
"I have to go now Catie." Jamie said. He dissapeared.
She walked out of the graveyard.
"I'll never leave." She heard whisper.
She smiled to herself and walked out of the braveyard, pleased.
