I cant believe im stuck here I mean look at this place a bomb explosion would make it look tidier but for now I better concentrate on keeping john alive even though he creeps me out big time with his rough gravely voice and cold icy piercing eyes but I gotta do this or both me and him die I put my hands each side of his temples he flinches with pain I apologize quietly he smiles slightly.
I look up to see his accomplice stood in the door way staring at me I quickly look away and back to john what's her name … Amy…Amanda That's it she scares me more than john because she is full health and extremely violent. I hear foot steps approach me and she speaks "so?" I take a deep breath and Reply "My twenty second analysis without any medical equipment is that his brain is herniating"
I look up at her she has a sarcastic expression on her face and then that word that said it all "oh" the sarcastic Bit-… 'calm down Lynn and just talk to her calmly even though its difficult not to put her face the other side of her head' I tell my self and I calmly reply "He needs to go to the hospital and have an operation to decompress his brain." Amanda looks at me for a second and then she whispers
"Come here. No, really, come here. Come here." I get a bad feeling in my stomach
Like she is gonna do something to me I reply "No" her slight smile fades to a deadly serious expression and she whispers "Let me ask you something"
I try to back away but she grabs my hair so hard I thought she was gonna rip it out then she brought her face near mine and said the words that showed her true colors "Did I bring John to you? Or did I bring your self-centered ass to him?" I didn't answer I just tried to loosen her grip on my hair but It fails she continues
"Now you better start fucking paying attention. No one's going to any hospital."
She shoves me backwards and I almost fall backwards but I still try and stay calm and try to make her see what the problem is "I can't perform miracles. You're giving him painkillers - for a tumor like this he needs steroids, prednisones."
I see rage build up in her eyes she suddenly starts to yell at me "Oh good yeah! Maybe we could try some corticosteroids, you know, like dexamethasone. Why don't you fucking tell me something that I don't know! Stupid cunt!" she picks up a medical dictionary and slams it on the metal table in between us the bang makes me and john jump but I stand my ground and simply say "The only place that he can get those drugs is in a hospital. Or else he's gonna die" I walk over to a chair and sit down she follows me and towers over me she has a sarcastically evil look on her face "You are not a good listener. I think you missed the part that if he dies, you die" at this I flinched at the last two words and she has an evil smile this woman is seriously giving me a fucking headache "Your asking me to do the impossible" I state she looks at me straight in the eyes "im not asking you he is" I look over at john and start feeling sorry for him im suddenly brought out of that thought by amanda shaking the tray so loud it wakes john up " He chose you, not me!" she is interupted by a rough gravely voice its john "Amanda the doctor cant do what we ask of her if you are threatening her what do you say?" amanda looks at me and forces herself to say "sorry" reluctantly I accept.
