Rei x Jadeite
Rei spent most of her days still as her shrine. After her grandfather passed away she took over and is very popular. She still does her music and all and even had gigs at the mall on the weekends. But in spite of all that, she is still a guardian of fire. Jadeite is her manager and every now and then he visits her during the week. "Rei. Hi there. I want to talk to you about something." He said. She saw her passed lover come running to her and she longed to hold him like she used to in her past. "What is it, Jadeite?" She asked him once he made it up the stairs. "I just booked you a gig at the theater close to your old school. They said if you did well there you might have a chance to become a real star!" He told her with so much excitement. This was huge. "But if I leave here, who will take care of the shrine?" Rei didn't want to leave home. She had a duty as the keeper as well as a guardian. "Well, you'll have a new manager so I could stay and take care of things here for you." Jadeite said to her. That could work but can she trust him enough to leave him here alone? No time for that! Had to get ready!
So, most days Rei got ready for her concert and boy she was ready and nervous. "You can do this. I believe in you, Rei." Jadeite said. She wished she had his old self back but this would have to do. She kissed him on the cheek and said "thank you" to him before running out on stage.
Jadeite touched his cheek and smiled. His plan was working. He watched the sailor guardian sang her heart out while dancing on stage wearing her fiery red shoes. When it was over he went out on stage to congratulate her and then whispered something in her ear. "You were wonderful. Thank you for setting me free from her spell. You saved my life, Mars." She looked at him in shock and unbelief. He remembered everything. Rei turned bright red in the face still looking at him. He plans to win her love back was working successfully.
