I've always loved looking at the clouds. The feeling of lying on the soft, grassy ground is a safe place
for me. This is where me, Gabriella Montez, and my boyfriend, Troy Bolton, have had many good laughs, cries, and, well, surprises. Looking at the different shapes in the clouds has taught me how to look at people; everyone is different, but we are all unique.
Me and Troy met 6 months ago at a ski lodge in Salt Lake City on New Year's Eve. I transffered to his school, East High in New Mexico, with my mom. Troy, the star basketball player of East High, and myself, the "freaky math girl", bonded over many subjects, including our love for singing, school cliques, and, of course, looking at the clouds. It wasn't until our first date three month ago when Troy told me he has always found the sky and clouds interesting. He says that like our personalities, clouds can have dark times, but when they are light they are truly amazing. But today, I would most deffinatly be considered a "dark cloud."
Today, my mom told me I had to go live with my dad for an entire three months. The worst part? I might have to move in with my dad permanitly, because my mom is moving around like crazy for her job as the owner of "Montez & Greene Law Firm." My dad, Charles Greene, lives in Los Angeles and owns a production company entitled, "Movie Magic Productions" , and he's a screenwriter. When my mom and dad were married, they worked together at my mom's law firm, and that's the reason his last name is in the title. And my dad's production company? Let's just say he has Angelina Jolie begging him to do a movie for her.
I had no idea how I was going to tell Troy I was leaving for three months, possibly even for the rest of my life. The sad thing is, I had no time to think. I was leaving the next day. I couldn't just leave Troy, the love of my life, without even telling him!
"What will I do?" was the thought that constantly clouded up my mind.
