Note: Hi! My name is GoldenHeartz11! I know some of you might get confused with my username "GoldenHeartz" except with an "11" on it. This is my first fic so please go easy on me. I'm going to write at least 10 drabbles of Percabeth stories since I am still a newbie. :)
Disclaimer: I do not own Percy Jackson series.
Chapter 1: Memories
Annabeth remembered the time when she first set eyes on him. She remembered the day they first met. Remembered when they found true love. . .
That's odd! Annabeth thought. I thought love was just a fairytale, a ruthless game to play with, an endless torture that tricks you into darkness that will hunt you forever. Annabeth shuddered in fear. The thought that came to her mind went shivering into her whole body. Blood ran past through her veins like she was going to explode. Her heart pumped every time she hears the word "darkness" as if a knife pierced through her heart.
Darkness. When did she experience that before? Did she ever think of ghosts creeping under the bed? Werewolves that were about to bite her? Shadows casting darksome creatures, waiting to feed on her loved ones? Darkness. Is that what it feels like? Living in a cage that leads you to the depths of despair. Fear that she might be heart-broken, forsaken, lost-in-love, and mostly . . . ignored.
Now, Annabeth was sitting in an attic below the roof. She was reading a fairytale book about a lone prince who wanted to become a knight to save a lost princess captured by an evil witch. In the end, the prince asked her to marry him and become his future beloved wife, and to live with him forever.
Annabeth sighed, and closed the book. She wished she could end up like that. She reminisced herself, and Percy lying on a bench, watching the sun shine brightly on them. The sky was light blue while the trees were swaying rhythmically. Blue birds called Bluejays were chirping, and humming sounds that humans can listen to.
They were lying down peacefully under the shade of a tree. Living in a cozy, warm bench surrounded by green grass, moss fields, and flower beds. The night was approaching and it created a beautiful sunset. The sun was ablaze, streaming downwards toward the couple. No one even spoke, not even a single word hit them. Silenced was filled until Percy mingled his throat, and took a deep breath.
"It has been a lovely day, isn't it? " Percy questioned himself.
He wasn't even looking at Annabeth, she must've thought Percy's mind is getting distracted by all the sounds coming from his brain. Perhaps she could stay for a little while just to talk. She nodded at this comment, and said no more. Far enough, he was the one whose outspoken.
Percy settled his beautiful , two-pairs of transparent sea- green eyes, and looked at Annabeth with pleasantry.
"Annabeth since when did I ever tell you how much I love you? " That was the first thing he ever said to her.
Her bones began to quiver, her chest seem to be heaving, eyes, nose, and muscles twitching, and the thing called " Love " has yet to be discovered.
" Oh, Percy " Annabeth slowly going up, putting an embrace around his neck. She felt heart-stringed by the happiness touch of joy, and delight. She silently broke into tears by the cherish that he gave her.
And that's where Annabeth found that love was something else. Love is a person which is given to someone, and charmingly gifted to a person not from the mind but the heart
Author's Note: So what do you think? Is it nice? Tell me all about it. I'm really sorry for not updating a story so long. I've been reading books I my entire life, and now I' am busy for High School 1st year. Yup, too many homeworks, and exams. I will try to update ASAP. Please check my grammar if they are correct.
Bye!
