It was about ten at night. Donna already left home, so did Fez, (or maybe he's hiding in Donna's closet again) and Eric is up in his room. Kelso is supposed to pick up Jackie but he is running late.
At least that's what Jackie thinks. She's down at the basement with Hyde who can't go to his room and sleep cuz Jackie won't let him.
"So why don't you just break up with him?" Said Hyde. "He cheats on you, forgets about you, and leaves you here at the Foreman's basement while he's off with some other girl."
"Shut up! He didn't forget about me! And he's so not off with some other girl." Jackie said, trying to believe it herself.
"Okay. If you think you're going to force me to stay here and listen to you, you're crazy. I'm leaving." He said, getting up.
"No wait! Stay here with me."
"Why?"
"Because…You don't really think he's with somebody else now, do you?" Jackie asked him, with tears in her eyes.
"No." He said, obviously lying.
"Stop. Tell me the truth."
"Do you really think he stopped cheating on you?"
They both stayed quiet for a while…until…
Five minutes later…
"Oh man. You guys would not believe what just happened to me." Kelso said, panting from running to the basement, flushed.
"What happened Kelso?" Hyde said, smiling successfully.
"There was a lot of traffic because…um…somebody got run over." Kelso was starting to get nervous.
"Somebody got run over? Oh my god. How odd." Hyde said, sarcastically.
"Yeah. I know."
"Michael," Jackie finally said. "Why don't you take me home now. I have to tell you something."
"Ugh! What now?" Michael whined, as she was pushing up the stairs to leave.
"You'll see!" She replied happily.
"Have a fun night Kelso!" Hyde said, still smiling.
Jackie looked back at him and smiled.
Before Kelso came, they shared a quick kiss. It was their little secret.
