This is about a girl called Ellie, only she is dead. This story is about a her boyfriend, James, and him reminiscing on the time before she died.
...
I can't see you anymore
"Hey! Hey! Mate?! JAMES!?"
"Huh?!" James awoke from a daze with a flash. He started to remember things that were going on before he got knocked out. There were some things that he could believe, and somethings that he didn't wan to believe.
"Mate, you were knocked out for ages!" James's best friend, Rex, said to him, softly.
"Oh. What happened?" James asked him. He did know what happened but he wanted to believe that it didn't. It can't be true... he told himself.
"Well, I, perm... A fair few things happened. Its probably no wise to say what happe-"
"TELL ME!"
"Um... ok... well. If you can get up then maybe I can show you."
James heaved himself from the bed, and followed Rex down the corridor. Parts of him wanted to see what happened, but parts of him guided it away. He knew from what Rex had said to him that it wasn't exactly the best news. Well it was far from that. Rex was usually quite straight with him, so him trying to steer away from the truth said something. It said that it was VERY far from being ok.
...
They got to a church. Now James was remembering in detail what had happened. He was fighting a guy in the shopping centre, in a big riot. Ellie was with him. Someone from behind him stepped forward and stabbed- he stabbed her. No, he told himself. No, No, No. He repeated the word No for a long time.
"So, um James. She, she's over there." That was all rex said. It was all he could say. Nothing he could say after this would make anyone feel any better..
She's Gone.
Her body looked like she was sleeping, except from her blue lips and the red gash in one side.
James sat down by her, and tried to let everything sink in. But he couldn't. She's Gone. Thats the only thing he could think of. All he wanted was one more look, one more smile, one more kiss.
...
I hope you like it so far! I guess this is kind of a prequel as this is when he found out she's dead. But PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE say if you want more, or if there is something I can improve on. Even if you don't like it, say that.
Thanks! See you next time! :)
