Hello dear readers! Yes, I'm pulling this story up again because I can't let it go and I need advice. I have decided I want to rewrite this story, but I have some choices to make before I can begin.
1. Should I re-post the story in this volume, thereby deleting the old chapters; or should I post the new version as a different volume, and keep this one intact, to show how my writing has changed and how the story developed?
2. I have a poll on my profile page for this question: In this new version, should Sokka still play Jean Valjean, or should I give that role to a different male character? Hakoda could work, if he wasn't Kya's old love and Katara's biological father. Or Pakku could work, since he and Katara have a grandfatherly relationship in the canon. Ikem from The Search is also an option, since he is someone who changes identities (maybe I could even include the Mother of Faces if I used him). I'm planning to change the Sage to Shyu, so Iroh could possibly play the part, but I was thinking of having him be part of Zuko's family drama, so I cant have it both ways.
3. Should Aang and Toph be part of the story, and if so, should they have a romantic relationship, as they do in this original version?
