After all of the fluff, she was even more desperate to get out of this place and had to hide behind a corner to get away from a few of her maids. From her hiding place she was able to see the Fuehrer President King Bradley exercising the Hollow/Titan defense and watched as her sister lectured Suzaku and Sosuke about the duties of the royal guard while Kurz flirted with her nonchalantly. Since all of the pre-cerimonial things were out of the way, Euphy when back to her dorms, and under close supervision of Kakashi (maybe a little too close), when to sleep.
The day of the ceremony dawned as gloomy as possible, and Euphima wasn't feeling very enthusiastic either, until Sebastian came with her breakfast and an official welcoming statement from Japan. In his letter, Japan expressed a desire to meet her in person, so she quickly dressed and joined in the world council. However, she never got to meet him, because the meeting ran late and Ayame and Mine hurried her back to the palace where they dressed her.
The ceremony went on without a hitch, until the priest started getting antsy and a kid in the crowd burst into flames. Just then, a hollow burst through the cathedral, followed by death the kid, who fainted from the demolition of such wonderful symmetry. Black*Star came to the rescue, but succeeded in making everything a worse mess than it actually was. In a hurry to get out of the way of the wreak, Euphy accidentally stumbled into Kyo, who turned into an adorable cat. After this brief interruption, the ceremonial feast commenced. They enjoyed the plentitude of food, with only a brief annoyance of a supposedly fluent engrish waiter who continued tormenting the guests and asking if they wanted coffee. Then Natsu fell through the roof and set the fireworks aflame prematurely and blew them all up.
