LET FREEDOM RING

In a hidden Hydra base the Red Skull had gathered some of the like minded villains to make a stab at S.H.I.E.L.D. and Captain America.

Among these villains included Crossbones, Flag Smasher, Viper, The Serpent Society, AIM, M.O.D.O.K, Arnim Zola, Baron Zemo, Baron Strucker, Doctor Faustus, The Hate Monger and many more.

"And then we will set the charges and detonate them, causing the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier to come crashing down onto Washington D.C. giving the Americans a 4th of July they will never forget!" Red Skull said.

Everyone nodded at the plan and began discussing several ideas.

Then the wall exploded

"Sorry Skull but things won't be going you way!" came a voice everyone knew from the smoke…

"CAPTAIN AMERICA!" several of the villains yelled

"No, not Captain" came the voice as the red, white and blue clad Avenger came out of the smoke as it began to clear and what the enemies of freedom saw made their jaws drop and eyes pop out.

"Captains" behind the original stood an army of red, white and blue clad soldiers. It didn't take long for the intelligent villains to figure out that these had to be alternate versions of Captain America from different universes.

Where the original Captain had been in the Army, they could see one that was dressed in mostly dark blue and Marine corps styled camouflage, another wore a jet pack and a modified WWII Air Force Uniform, there was one that had a uniform and gear for water fighting on him and the Navy emblem emblazoned on his shoulder, and one that was dressed in a uniform that was reminiscent of and had the symbol of the coastguard. Another one was dressed in a version of the costume that marked him as an Army Chaplain, a vampire version. There was a hulk version, another that had mechanical body parts that looked like they were taken from a terminator, another was floating in the air with an 'S' on his shield.

There were also a gorilla and cat dressed in the stars and stripes'.

There were hundreds.

"Alright everyone lets take them down hard!" the lead Captain America said.

"Captains of America Assemble!"

What followed next is probably best left to the imagination, but here are some bits of what the villains had to say to this Star-spangled team up.

"NEIN! NEIN! NEIN"

"NOT THE FACE!"

"I DIDN'T KOW BODIES COULD BEND THIS WAY!"

"I GIVE!"

"MOMMMMMMY!"

After the short fight the Captains all gathered

"Okay everyone, now onto the next universe to battle the enemies of Freedom and Justice!"

They all cheered

At Avengers Tower

"Hey Jarvis, where's Steve I haven't seen him in almost two days" Tony asked as he came into Avengers Tower

"He went into the vault and took Mr. Fantastic's interdimensional teleporter" Jarvis answered

Tony raised an eyebrow "What would he want that for?"

"I don't know sir"

Well this was a fun short to do.

Captain America is my favorite Superhero so I thought that writing a whole army of them would be interesting.

I also had versions from different military groups and I may even write some short stories on why he would have joined the other branches and how this would have effected things.
