A/N: I got detention for getting revenge on two pranksters. Totally worth it. Final word count: 525.
"Hello, George," the beautiful blonde said in a dreamy voice as she walked into the joke shop with her sons for their first visit.
"Luna, haven't seen you in ages! Are these your boys?"
"Yes, this is Lysander and Lorcan. I thought, being a twin yourself, you might have some words of wisdom before they head off to their first year at Hogwarts."
"Oh, sure. I'd be more than happy to help."
Luna smiled as she left her son with George so she could gather the rest of the necessary supplies.
A few hours later, the boys walked out with their arms carrying bags full of goodies.
"What do you have there boys?"
"Fireworks," exclaimed Lysander.
"Trick wands," cried Lorcan
"A couple portable swamps!"
"Self-writing quills!"
"And PERUVIAN INSTANT DARKNESS POWDER," they shouted in perfect unison.
"Sounds lovely dears. That was very generous of him."
"We can't wait for school!"
Lysander and Lorcan woke from their sleep, hearing a snickering from the common room after leaving their extendable ears stretched.
Without even looking at each other, they got up from bed and crept down the stairs. To their surprise they saw two non-Ravenclaw students painting across all of the walls in red paint "trouble makers rally" and laughing.
"We can't let them get away with this," whispered Lysander
"No we most certainly cannot," Lorcan agreed.
They locked eyes and ran upstairs, grabbing their identical prank bags and running downstairs.
"We gotta split up. I saw one of them at Hufflepuff and the other in Gryffindor earlier."
Lorcan nodded in response.
Lysander followed the one wearing red until they reached the portrait of the fat lady.
"Lace wing flies!"
The fat lady swung open and Lysander darted inside just before she closed.
Now to get to work.
First he pulled out the whizbangers and set them around the common room, taking quills and replacing them with selfwriting quills as he went. Then he slowly crawled up the stairs planning the whiz bangers along the way. He took each wand he could and replaced them with the trick wands he had.
Once he finished, he crept out slowly towards the common room. Before leaving, he placed the portable swamp in the middle of the common room. As he walked out, he set off the whiz bangers. And then he ran to the great hall.
He ran into Lorcan along the way and found a house elf as be stepped behind a portrait.
"Wait!" He cried.
The little elf stepped back out and looked at the two young boys.
"Yous shouldn't be out here this late."
"We know. But can you do us a favor. Can you hide these?"
Both Lorcan and Lysander held out the collection of wands.
"Mine can go to the Gryffindor table in the morning," Lysander instructed.
"And mine Hufflepuff."
They have the elf their best puppy dog eyes.
"Please."
The elf took a quick glance around and grabbed the wands. "I won't take the blame. Yous two better not get caught."
"Thank you," they cried in unison as they took off to their common room to sleep before their first day of classes.
