Patroclus's P.O.V
I could leave. I thought looking down the path that lead to the mountains. i started to walk but stopped when a soft blue light surrounded me and i was brought to a large room. Bigger than the throne room of Peleus's castel. I looked around me to see that i was not alone. king Peleus was there, along with last Thetis. I noticed with surprise that my father was here, I tried to avoid eye contact with him as I continued to look around, and thats when I spotted Achilles.
"Achilles!" I shouted to him before running over to him.
"Where have you been? I was worried." I told him when I got to him. He looked at me shocked before smiling.
"I went to go train with Master Chiron" He said gesturing to a man i had not noticed earlier. He had the body of a horse but the torso of a man.
"Patroclus?" I winced at the voice behind me before turning amd standing up straight to look at my father.
"Father." I said nervously, messing with my tunic.
"you've grown" My father said before nording at Achilles and walked away.
Achilles looked at me confused but I just looked away from him towards the center of the room, when i noticed a book laying on a small table. i walked over to it drawing the attention of everyone else in the room.
"what is that patroclus?" king Peleus asked kindly.
"a book, as well as a letter. it's addressed to all of us." i said picking up the small piece of parchment paper.
"well read it, if you can" thatis drawled in a cold voice. i tried not to glare at her as i looked down at the letter and began to read it.
"Dear everyone:
I have brought you all here to read the book sitting on the table. It is about two of the people in this room about their past and future. I have stopped time outside of this room so no one is allowed to leave. there is food in the room on the left and bedding on the right. please read the whole book and no killing anyone. Thanks
-The Fates"
When i got done reading the note I looked up at everyone to see that they were as confused as I was.
"well i guess we have to read it then, hand it here" thetis said in a cold voice snatching the book off the table. Thats when i noticed that the cover was blank as well as the back. Thetis looked aroumd at all of us with a glare
"well are you going to sit down or are you going to stand the whole time?" She asked.
I looked down in surprise when i saw the surprisingly bright colored round ball things. when i sat dow. i noted that it was very comfortable amd looked up at Achilles as he sat in the one next to me.
Thetis glared again before clearing her throat and opening the book to the first page.
"Chapter One" She began.
