Chapter 1
Bella pov
Why me! I screamed in my head. Why me!? Why does he tempt me so? I could never stand human blood when I was human so why do I want to drink his blood now? Too bad that I know no one else who shares my diet around here. There is that clan from Denali but they're too far away. Oh what should I do?!
Edward pov
Wow. That Swan girl sure is staring at me. She looks like she hates my guts but how is that possible? I just moved here from Arizona. Man she is so beautiful it makes even Rosalie seem ordinary.
Bella pov
Ok so here's the deal with me. I am a "vegetarian" vampire, meaning I drink animal blood instead of human. I have long chestnut brown hair and amber eyes (result of drinking animal blood. If I drank human blood they would be scarlet). If I didn't have that other-worldly beauty then I could have just passed as a normal teenage girl. I am only just beginning to show my face among humans again and I like the fact that, compared to me, the most beautiful girl at school, Rosalie Hale, seems very plain. Hey here's the solution to all the beauty problems in the world, turn every one into vampires and we'll all be beautiful.
Edward POV
Man that swan girl is giving me the creeps. She keeps staring at me like I got her really mad just by moving here. Man her eyes are creepy; they go from onyx to amber in the second she looks away from me. I mean I know that all the girl's were falling over themselves back in Phoenix but they never stared like this.
