Ayumu sighed. He was on his way to the second year hallway to find Kousuke and Hiyono. Rio had just called him and told him that Eyes said that there was an emergency. Ayumu sighed, there was always an emergency. Ever since he had met the Blade Children, there had always been 'emergencies'. Why couldn't his life just be normal?

Ayumu was pulled out of his thoughts by a loud obnoxious voice.

"I am telling you! It does not make any since!" the yelling was starting to give Ayumu a headache.

"I am not being unreasonable!"

Ayumu sighed again, it was Kousuke. Anything left of his peaceful day was thrown out of the window. But he had no choice, he had to continue his journey to Kousuke's classroom, Eyes always meant it when he said it was an emergency. As he got closer the yelling only increased in volume, and the word became even clearer.

"There is no way that (sin4-cos4)=(sin2-cos2)!" Kousuke yelled.

Ayumu froze. You mean that all of that yelling was over a math problem! A math problem! Ayumu raised his right hand and grabbed the bridge of his nose. What was the world coming to? Although he would have rather turned back and gone to take a nap on the rooftop, Ayumu decided that Eyes would kill him if he did not get Kousuke so he took a deep breath and entered the classroom.

Kousuke had reached a new low. Or a new high, it depends on how you look at it. And look at it Ayumu did, how could he not when Kousuke was standing on a desk. Standing on a desk and lecturing the teacher about have the math problems were too hard. Ayumu sighed. Kousuke probably forgot to do his homework. Ayumu had no intention of drawing attention to himself so he stood in the door way while Kousuke made his anti-math speech.

Ten minutes later Ayumu was really getting angry. Kousuke had somehow started a rebellion and half the class was protesting the harmless math problem that the other half of the class could not figure out. They were second years in high school; you would think that they would be more mature. Ayumu shuddered. Kousuke and mature should never be in the same sentence.

"Math is so illogical!" yelled Kousuke triumphantly, not knowing that he had just breached Ayumu's last nerve.

Ayumu was all about logic and he really hated it when people called perfectly logical things illogical. That coupled with the fact that he had been standing in a door way for ten minutes while the person that he was supposed to be getting was making a speech from on top of a desk made him quite irritable. Before he knew it he was standing in front of the class holding a piece of chalk.

"(sin4-cos4)=(sin2-cos2)(sin2+cos2). And (sin2+cos2)=1. So (sin2-cos2)1=(sin2-cos2). Therefore(sin4-cos4)=(sin2-cos2)." Ayumu wrote down each equation as he said it.

The whole class just stared at him. Then Ayumu saw that look in Kousuke's eyes, the one that meant he was thinking up a troublesome plan. Kousuke hopped off of the desk and walked up to Ayumu.

"You, my friend are a genius!" he said with a smirk.

"No I'm not," replied Ayumu.

"Of course you are!" if anything Kousuke's smile got bigger, "You know I think that we are going to be best friends, little Narumi!"

"What?" Ayumu tried to get away but Kousuke threw an arm around his shoulder and pulled him back.

"And as my best friend you will be so kind as to do my homework, right?" Ayumu could just see the 'or else' in Kousuke's smile. He was going to have to talk to Eyes about Kousuke; Ayumu didn't think that he could take anymore of Kousuke's ingenious plans. And so Ayumu sighed, for the fourth, but defiantly not the final, time.
