Life is not fair. My life has been in turmoil since 2014, both emotionally and physically. I can barely walk or stand, but I have not complained, I only took things as they were thrown at me. First, my health began to decline in 2014. Then in late 2014, my mother became ill, unfortunately, she lost her life in early 2015. My world spiraled out of control at that point because I had just lost my Dad to Pancreas Cancer a few years earlier. They were my world. I am an only child and felt very alone at the time.
Then there was drama on this very site that caused me anguish and pain. Things just kept piling up.
The one thing that kept me somewhat sane was writing, and most of those stories were starring Roman Reigns. Tonight, the angus began again just as I was turning things around. Roman announced on Raw tonight that he has had Leukemia and has been in remission since 2008, but it has come back and he has to leave the WWE to fight like hell to beat this disease again.
Hearing him utter those words tonight made me angry for him. He has had nothing but hate spewed his way for years, but not once did he waiver in the ring. He accepted the boos and awful things said about his family to entertain us.
I hope those that had their fun at his expense look themselves in the mirror and see how massively they were cruel and unfair to this man. They never knew the real man and never wanted to, but was so boastful in their hate for him.
We all have our favorites, but it does not give any of us any right to spew such hatred onto Roman, because at the end of the day all these Superstars put their bodies and wellbeing on the line for our entertainment every night.
I send Love and Light to Joe and his family in his fight. I know it won't be easy for him, but the more prayers he receives the better.
