Calypso
First in a series of one-shots about tough decisions that Percy has to make. This one is about what would have happened if Percy had Decided to stay with Calypso for all time and Eternity. Palypso. I like Palypso better than Percabeth. Wow! That is weird. I used to love Percabeth. Sorry this so short.
No war. No prophecy. No more taking sides. I was definitely considering the possibilities.
"I can't" I told her.
She looked down sadly. I felt so bad for doing this. Maybe I could stay. I would.
"Calypso?" I asked. She looked up. "I am staying with you. Forever and all eternity. The war can live without me. So can the prophecy."
She smiled. "I knew it would be you."
"What would be me?" I asked.
"Part of the curse that isn't really a curse. They said that only one person would stay. After the last 100 or so I had given up. But, I felt something different about you. I hoped that it would be you," she told me. I gently moved my fingers over her cheek and lips. Then I grabbed her neck and pulled her into a deep kiss.
"I can't believe I thought of letting you go," I said after. Then she pulled in for a second one. I had forgotten to breathe and we both started to pant after that.
"I love you," she whispered in my ear.
"I love you too," I whispered back, "And I always will."
"I don't think I could have lived any longer with no company at all. And now I am blessed with the best I could ever ask for," she said.
"Not a problem," I said. And with that, I lived a wonderful life with Calypso.
FIN! I hope you liked it even though it is super short and no one but be likes Palypso so everyone will hate it. On that happy note, review! I accept flames with open arms.
