Request: Can you do a fluffy Castiel imagine where Y/N is super stressed and he helps her calm down with cuddles?
A/N: Sorry this is pretty shitty, I was wring fairly quickly, and I'm not phenomenal anyways. Thank you so much for the request, it was really sweet of you :)

You dropped your head down on your desk, frustrated at everything. You had been trying to gain ground on this hunt for hours now, but you had yet to find anything. It was almost as though what you were hunting didn't exist, nothing in any lore matching up to your hunt. You decided to try for a few minutes more before you would go ask Sam what he had found.
After fifteen minutes, with no end in sight, you shut off your laptop, unable to continue searching with nothing to go on. Even if you just had a name, it would all be easier. You found yourself wishing Cas were here, your best friend, he would at least know something, anything, about what you were hunting.
As you stood up to leave, placing your laptop in a drawer, preparing to check with sam, you were halted by a loud crash accompanied by a flash of blue light. When you blinked the spots from your eyes, knife at the ready, you were relieved, albeit still confused, to see that the distraction had only been Cas.
"Speak of the devil…." You trailed off, in awe.
"What are you talking about, Y/N?" Cas inquired, head tilted and eyes scrunched. "I am not the devil, I am an angel of the lord."
You stifled a laugh, though mirth still shone in your eyes. "It's a figure of speech, Cas." Although this sounded like a good enough explanation to you, his expression did not change. You sighed and explained, "That was a shortened version of 'Speak of the devil, and so he shall appear'. It's used when you mention someone and then they appear. Speaking of that, why exactly are you here?"
His blue eyes remained clouded with confusion as he asked, "Did you not summon me, Y/N?"
"No, I didn't 'summon you'."
"Well I can pick up on a longing, or a wish as well. Could that be the case?"
Your face flushed scarlet, suddenly realizing why he was here. He must have picked up on it when you wished he was there to help with research. Though you appreciated his effort to come, it suddenly felt too petty to ask about research when he had traveled all this way to come see you. So instead you smiled up at him, Y/E/C eyes sparkling, as you grabbed his hand and pulled him over onto the sofa.
"I was just getting really stressed from the research, and I was wondering if you wanted to watch a movie or hangout?" You asked, hope covering your features as you sat and turned your body to face his.
"Alright" Cas responded, quite awkwardly, but that didn't worry you because this was Cas, he was always awkward, it was in his nature.
You grabbed the remote and directed it towards the television, asking, "What do you want to watch? I know you haven't seen Lord of the Rings and I thought maybe we could marathon that."
"That sounds good, Y/N" Cas replied, still looking confused, but you thought it was sweet that he would stay with you, even if he didn't now what he was in for. You snuggle closer to him, grabbing his arm and draping it over your shoulders.
You pulled a blanket over both of you as you began the first movie, a content smile on your face. Eventually Cas got comfortable, relieving his stiff position in favor of a more comfortable one.
As you drifted off to sleep, you were glad that you had hit a dead end on the research, at least for the time being.
