People are stupid.
They don't think I notice things. The ordinaries...they're usually scared shitless of me or too mesmerized by my lizard-like good looks to think that my brain actually works. The trannies...they all think I'm too busy cateloguing weapons, bitching about the ordinaries and smoking cigars to notice anything else going on around TC.
Like I said...people are stupid.
Take Max and Alec for example. Anyone with any common sense can see that there's some major UST going on between those two. Except that lately, not so much...if you catch my drift (hey I took Common Verbal Usage at Manticore too!). You see what everyone else hasn't caught onto quite yet is that those two have definitely been "gettin busy" as Dog Boy likes to put it.
How do I know this? Well for one our chronically bitchy leader...not so bitchy of late. Sure she still scowls a lot for the masses but I see the secret little smiles she sends his way when no one else is looking. Two, the verbal and physical threats she directs towards the "smart alec", don't hold the same intensity that they used to.
And don't get me started on Princess. He's been in a REAL good mood lately...too good for living in this shit hole. That smirk of his has turned itself into a great big satisfied grin. Yeah...he's gettin' some alright.
Man it's like a freaking X series soap opera around here. Just nobody knows it but me. Well maybe there's others but nobody wants to be the first one to say anything...least of all me. That would ruin all the fun. Besides, it's not like I care. Me...I'm just a simple greenish creature. Give me a cuban and sawed-off shotgun and I'm right as rain.
I still notice things though. Perceptive...yeah that's my middle name. Well, it would be if I had one.
