Quite a sad poem I wrote. It's from Jack's point of view about Elizabeth. I don't think she says "I can't" to him in the films, but pretend she does! Enjoy!

I Can't

I'm not usually a man,

Who can say I've been in love,

But when I saw her smiling face,

She'll forever be my dove.

-----

Her eyes sparkle as though,

They're the stars up in the sky,

I can't help but think of her,

No matter how hard I try.

-----

The fierceness in her face,

And the wildness in her tone,

Was indeed enough to melt,

My pitiful heart of stone.

-----

The look she gave me the first time we met,

Was enough to drive me mad,

She was most definitely,

The best I could've had.

-----

But she never favoured me,

My rum and my pirate name,

She'd never guess that she'd turn out,

To be exactly the same.

-----

One day, I felt a terrible,

Pain inside my heart,

I never knew how much I cared 'til

The moment she whispered, "I can't."

-----

Well, what do you think?

Please review and tell me whether I should incorporate this into a chapter in my Sparrabeth fanfic!
