Someone painted over the disclaimer that I don't own any Galaxy Rangers characters. Just a little scribble that came out of my mad mind. Seriously, there's nothing better on television so I created this
Goose The Artist
"All right, I have got to know," Commander Walsh sighed. "Whose idea was it to try and get Shane Gooseman interested in painting?"
"Uh…" Zach began.
"Okay," Commander Walsh closed his eyes and rubbed the bridge of his nose. "Your idea, not Niko's?"
"I was just as surprised as you were," Niko said. "I mean I've been encouraging him to try something artistic for years. And nothing. How did you do it Zach?"
"Well we were just talking and somehow the subject came up on hobbies and I told him that when I was in high school I tried painting," Zach shrugged. "I wasn't very good at it but it was fun. Then Goose mentioned that maybe he should try something new. You know how he's always looking for ways to break his Supertrooper conditioning."
"And yet he always finds a way to break my will to go through another day without a drink," Walsh groaned. "Okay! So he wanted to paint! That's fine! That's not a problem! Except there is one little problem! Why couldn't he have painted on a canvas or a piece of paper instead of an interceptor?"
They were standing before a painted interceptor in the hanger. It was colored black with dolphins flying through stars on both sides. "It looks like one of those vans you see at Woodstock Revival concerts," Doc blinked.
"You have to admit it is rather good," Niko remarked. "For a first try."
"Are you kidding? It's rather good for a fourth or fifth try," Zach said.
"So you really like it?" Shane asked. He had finished painting the starship.
"We'd like it better if it wasn't plastered all over government property," Walsh snapped. "Goose why did you pain your interceptor?"
"I was inspired," Shane said.
"I can see that," Walsh said. "So can everyone else! Couldn't you have been inspired to paint on paper like a normal person?"
"What can I say? Metal is my medium," Shane admired his artwork. "You want me to get rid of it?"
"No, because you'll probably crash it the next time you fly it anyway," Walsh said. "Why waste a paint job on something that's going to burn up in flames?"
"Hey Gooseman do you do requests?" Zach asked. "Maybe a sunset and horses on the side of Ranger One?"
"Maybe I should take up something creative in the medium of glass bottles?" Walsh turned around. "Seeing as I'm starting to amass quite a collection."
