With titles and treasures galore,
And a manipulative Dumbledore.
He defeated the Dark Lord,
Backed by the Goblin Nation;
While plot-line, originality and canon
Suffered eternal damnation.

There was no Harry Potter.
For the sake of originality,
James and Lily had a daughter.
Harriet, Haley or may be Henrietta was her name;
Though, that is where the apparent originality ended,
for all other plot points were the same.

The assumed Boy-Who-Lived was wrong,
Logic was thrown out of the window,
And the story, unnecessarily long.

Harry Potter was actually a Snape.
Severus cried tears of joy,
Sirius threw a fit,
Albus' eyes twinkled.
In utter astonishment,
The readers' foreheads wrinkled.

Harry loved Draco Malfoy.
Draco was a Veela or a Vampire or Werewolf,
Or all of the above,
And Harry his Mate.
It remains a mystery how suddenly,
Love blossomed from all their mutual loathing and hate.

Harry had a harem and way too many wives.
For the power He knew not
Was Harry's sexual prowess,
And that, is how,
The Boy-Who-Lived survived.

Harry falls in love with Tom Riddle.
With excessive smut, lemons and limes,
Where Harry conveniently forgets Riddle's crimes,
And the reader loses interest,
somewhere in the middle.

Harry is the Founder's Heir.
Packed with more powers than Merlin,
And multiple animagus forms;
He finally defeats Voldemort,
By a wandless-ly conjured lightening storm.

Harry travels back in time.
To save the Wizarding world,
from darkness and despair.
Equipped with the hallows three, assisted by the fire bird,
By the time the they're halfway through,
The reader realises the story -
Is actually about Harry-Sue.

When the reader goes back to canon.
Only to realise -
Potterverse may forever be ruined,
By all the clichés of fanon.
