Really short oneshot about Spirited Away, just read an find out!
Chirio ran. She just ran. No longer could she take the pain of being without Kohaku. She promised that she would never look back but Haku had promised to see her again before she died… but that wouldn't happen. She had given up on him. She had waited for 7 years. 7 long years. Chirio was 17 now, she couldn't wait anymore. When she reached the double faced statue, she took out the pocket knife she had brought. As she looked up, through the tunnel, she almost heard a whisper of 'wait!'
"I'm done waiting!" She screamed, tears soaking her face. The knife popped open and she slit it across her throat. She dropped like a rag doll, letting the blackness enfold her. A white dragon entered the clearing just in-time to see her drop. Quickly turning back into man, he whispers a spell to stop the bleeding of Chirio's cut. It just kept bleeding. Kohaku's head was bowed and his body was shaking with silent sobs. He reached across and brushed the tears away from her beautiful face.
"Chirio, just wait a few more minutes, I'll be there soon." Kohaku gently removed the knife from the girls hand and lay down with Chirio resting in his arms.
"Just a few more seconds," He whispered brokenly. He looked at the knife that had claimed her life, then sliced his own throat. His last conscious thought was 'Just a few more seconds.'
"Kohaku!" Chirio yelled as he began to appear before her in oblivion. He rushed towards her and picked her up in his arms, simply to hold her. She cried with joy into his shoulder.
"Chirio… my Chirio…" He murmured into her hair.
"What took you so long?" She asked, teary eyed.
"It doesn't matter… you're here and I'm here, that's all that matters." He lets her go, but keeps a hold of her shoulders. They both feel the need to forever be touching, they won't be whole without the other. They walk, each with their armswrapped around each other, into the sunlight of nothingness.
Be nice!
