Mending the broken bond
"Anna? Anna?" Queen Elsa called out. She was searching for her little sister Anna but couldn't find her anywhere. She had to be somewhere in the castle. The Princess wouldn't leave the castle without telling a servant or the Queen herself, so the possibility of her leaving the castle is out of the window.
There was one room that she hasn't checked and that was her sister's room. Elsa dashed through the halls to the doorway of her sister. She was there in no time flat. The door was cracked open already. She was hesitant but she poked her head through the doorway. As soon as she done that she saw Anna.
She was laying on a soft blanket with two tiny dolls, a book, and a pillow next to a toasty fire. She looked so peaceful when she was asleep. The Queen walked over to her sleeping sister and cuddled next to her.
Her sister stirred out of her short lived sleep. She turned towards her older sister giving an adorable smile with half lidded eyes. "Hi Elsa." She murmured as she wrapped her arms around Elsa.
"Hi sleepyhead."
Anna giggled at that remark. She knew it. She was a sleepyhead indeed. The Queen looked at what her sister had in her hands. It was their childhood dolls. "I can't believe you still have our dolls. I thought you were over dolls." She slowly took the doll of Anna out of her sister's hand and gazed upon it for what seemed like forever.
It brought back happy memories of her and Anna before their separation for thirteen years.
"You really think I was gonna get rid of these Elsa? There's no way that I would do that!"
The Queen gave a small chuckle. She kissed her sister on her temple while embracing her like there's no tomorrow. "Anna, it's getting kind of late. We should go to sleep." She murmured as she released Anna from her strong grip.
"Can you sleep with me then?" Anna asked holding Elsa's hand. Her sister nodded then left to change. The Princess was already in her nightgown all she needed to do now was to wait for her sister. She was really tired after reading just a few pages of her book. Her sister returned wearing a light blue nightgown.
Elsa gave her exhausted sister a smile then approached her bed. "Scoot over, Anna." She whispered, the Princess made room on her bed for her sister to sleep with her. The Queen tucked herself in while wrapping her pale arms around her sister. She gently pulled Anna close to her then closed her eyes. Joining her sleeping sister in a peaceful slumber.
For the first time in forever, the girls are mending their broken bond.
