AN: Wow, ok I was watching Aftermath, where Elle completely looses it and an idea hit me. She shoots this guy in cold blood and then pawns it off as self defense. Well the team knows better, don't they? Well, me having a twisted screwed up mind, wants to know what Jason would have done had they been in a relationship. So, here I am, trying to write the two people I hate the most on this show *pauses* *nods* Yeah even over Foyet. Hell every time I see Elle I want to punch her in her face! So, Enjoy!

PS- After writing this… I find it OOC… sorry, but fair warning!

Disclaimer: I own… wow not a lot… hell I don't even want to claim this story… it's up for grabs peeps!

It was eerily silent on the way back to Virginia from Ohio. Jason hadn't said one word to her, not even a 'Good morning' this morning. She didn't make an effort either. She didn't know what had crawled up his butt and died. It was self- defense, or at least that was the story she was sticking with. Although she knew the team didn't believe her.

"What were you thinking?" Jason asked as he pulled the SUV to a stop in front of his cabin. Elle shrugged.

"I was hoping he would do something else illegal and…."

"Shut up Elle! We both know this wasn't self defense! You were pissed because you let him walk for being stupid" Jason yelled. There were very few times he ever raised his voice, but apparently his girlfriend had pressed the wrong button.

"Yeah I was stupid, but it was him wasn't it? You and Hotch just needed to pull your heads out of your…."

"Don't finish that sentence" he snarled. "You blamed Hotch for you getting shot too. That wasn't his fault. If anything yesterday's fiasco was your fault!"

"I was shot Jason, I wasn't going to not blame someone for that" she yelled, tears gathering in her eyes. So this was how it would end. She knew it was too good to be true. She didn't deserve love or happiness.

"Stop the self pity party you have going on in your head and see what the rest of us have Elle. I love you goddammit, but Hotch sure as hell wasn't the one who shot you. In fact he felt so guilty he went over after the case and cleaned up for you so you didn't have to do it. So whatever you want to blame on someone else, blame on yourself" Jason said, swinging his door open and jumping out. Elle slowly followed. This wasn't her fault. She was the victim here.

"You know what Jason? I was hoping for some sort of support from my boyfriend about all of this and instead of support, I'm getting thrown to the damned wolves!"

"Do you not see it? This is all about you now. You've changed since the shooting dammit and you aren't the woman I fell in love with anymore. I want to love you, I really do, but until you stop being so damned selfish, I'm going to have to let you go" he said, his voice laced with emotions of hurt and betrayal. Elle gaped at him. She was being selfish? How did he think she felt? Fine, if he was going to keep that stick permanently shoved up his ass, then she would find someone who would support her and not want her to change. She turned on her heel, not another word passed between them as she got in her car and drove away. A single tear rolled down Jason's cheek as he watched the only woman he had ever loved run away, with no chance of ever coming back.

AN: Well… that was… fun, awkward, weird… unusual for me to write. I kinda like it! Although I still think Elle needs a punch in the face… hmmm… anyway! Thanks for reading now please review!
