Under a moonless sky in a dark night plagued by thick clouds, dark silhouettes launched themselves across rooftops. Five of these six were Heroes. The Teen Titans to be specific. The sixth figure was far ahead. That one was the notorious Red X. A villain that always got away… except for tonight. No one had had any sleep for the past month, due Red X. He had been popping up like a weasel all month, always getting the drop on them. But not tonight. Red X tripped over Beast Boy's strategically placed Octopus tentacle and plummeted to the ground. He fell five stories and landed on a dumpster. He hissed in ripping pain. He felt something wet flowing through his bag. He was internally bleeding. Part of his spine was shattered from the impact.
The Titans glided down from the rooftop.
"Dudes. Did I kill him?" Beast Boy wondered ignorantly
"No you degenerate. I'm still alive. And I'm gonna escape to." Red X replied without a hint of pain.
The Titans watched as he tried to get. As he failed (pitifully falling to the ground with a thud) Beast Boy was giggling inwardly.
"Perhaps we should attempt in helping him?" Starfire ventured.
"It looks like his spine is broken. It'll take at least a month to heal." Raven responded in her usual monotone.
"The only reason we'll help him is to interrogate him when he's well enough to stand. Otherwise we would leave him here. Cyborg, grab him."Robin said grimly
"Be gentle you tin can. Don't want to break thief." Red X said in a playful voice
"I wouldn't want to decrease your value. Although, it's not like your in mint condition."
"Right on Cy! Awesome pun!" Beast Boy exclaimed
Still a complete degenerate. Red X thought to himself
Cyborg slung Red X over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes.
Robin had made the decision that Red X would be locked in a high security room until his interrogation. He would be closely guarded until his interrogation .Fortunately for Raven, she was responsible for the first shift.
"Hey, Sunshine, would you do me the favor of helping me get off my bed to get a drink?" Red X called casually.
"Are you thirsty?"Raven replied in a bored tone
"…Yeeeeeessssss… uuuhhhhh. Yes?" he replied in a childish tone.
"Fine then." She shot back in an angry and annoyed voice.
As she punched in the 12 digit security code, she heard a loud thud, (similar to the sound of Red Xhitting the dumpster that started this mess) and then a shatter. Raven peeked in to see Red X sprawled on the floor in an untidy heap.
"Red X? Are you …alright?"She said shakily
After he rolled of the bed, he must have hit the table, causing the glass platter to fall, and shatter on his head. Knocking him unconscious… or worse. Raven thought, horrified
