Tiffany smiled as she sang along to White Lines and Red Lights, by Between the Trees. "Late night, driving home together and at red lights, we press our lips together. And we're holding tight now; Slow it down now..."
Her foster father laughed, pulling the car into a driveway. "Here we are, Tiff."
Smiling, Tiffany got out of the car. "Thanks, Dad!" He smiled back, then drove away.
Tiffany heard a door open behind her, so she turned around. "Hermione!" Laughing, she ran up to her friend and hugged her. "Hermione! How have you been?"
Hermione hugged her back, and laughed back. "I've been great! And you? I haven't heard from you in AGES!"
"Things have been fine and dandy!" Tiffany laughed, "Ah...Yeah, I've been a tad bit busy..."
"A TAD bit? you haven't written in six months!" Hermione sighed, "But at least you're well!" She grabbed Tiffany's hand, and led her inside. "Welcome to Hogwarts! Now then, let's go meet my friends!"
