[Set in the beginning of series 3, just after Cutter builds 'The Matrix']
"Cutter!" Connor charged into the room, "I got your mess- woah" Connor stopped abruptly, almost tripping and falling onto Nick's new creation, he tried to regain his balance by grabbing a nearby chair, only to realise it was on wheels.
"Careful Connor! I spent all night making this and I don't need you destroying it." Cutter sighed and looked down at the heap on the floor that was Connor Temple, he tiptoed over, careful not to disturb his model, and pulled Connor to his feet.
"Sorry professor, I just wanted to see what your 'breakthrough' was.." Connor replied, panting due to the fact he had sprinted the entire journey from the car park, which wasn't really that far away.
"Well here it is, the Matrix, a map of-"
"-The Anomalies… wow Cutter, it's brilliant.," Connor interrupted. He took a step forward only to be held back by the professor, he gave him a stern look as if to say 'don't screw it up Connor', and Connor stepped back again, "aaand I'll just admire it from afar."
"Good lad," Cutter replied, chuckling at Connor's enthusiasm, "with this, we'll be able to predict anomalies Connor, we'll never be caught off guard again." The pair stood in silence, admiring Cutter's work. Suddenly the anomaly alert sounded and the two looked at each other with impatience, "Come on then, let's go do our job." Cutter laughed and the two jogged out of the room, leaving their exciting new toy behind.
